It is significant that Our Lady gave this message again on a Saturday, on the eve of Pentecost, on the last day of the Novena, emphasizing the special importance of this message.  She asked the faithful--through Marija as usual--to pray for two particularly important gifts of the Holy Spirit for Medjugorje and for anyone for that matter who is listening to her messages:  1.  the Spirit of truth, and 2. the Spirit of prayer.

To convey the messages faithfully is a vitally important task of the visionaries, but also of translators and interpreters of these messages.  Jesus promised the gift of the Spirit of truth for His Church (John 16:13) and we should pray for it.

The gift of the Spirit of prayer is particularly needed for our time in which silence and solitude are not easy because of all sorts of distractions, worries and pressures.  We may find concentration in prayer very difficult indeed.  The gift of prayer, on the other hand, will help us to experience a close relationship with our Father in heaven, enabling us to say from our hearts "Abba Father!" (Romans 8:15).
