Once again, our Blessed Mother expresses her joy in view of the prayers offered for her intentions. Then she draws our attention to those in our communities (family, parish, etc) who do not pray and she invites us to share her concern for them. I feel that in the first message our Blessed Mothewr wants us not only to pray for others, but also on behalf of those who are close to us but do not pray, do not practise their faith. By doing this, our Blessed Mother is able to take our prayers and sacrifices to God on behalf of our families and communities, including the failing members of our communities. In St. Paul's words, "by carrying each other's burdens we are fulfilling the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2)
This may console some parents, for instance, whose children have lapsed from the practice of faith. By praying on their behalf the parents are uniting their families in the sight of God.
In the special message within the same week through Jakov, our Blessed Mother wants to extend our concern for all the sinners in the world, our brothers and sisters in Jesus and Mary, especially by praying the Holy Rosary for them in the family or prayer group.
There are various forms of Rosary devotions like the Scripture Rosary, the Jesus Rosary (of Medjugorje), Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady, etc. Variation may benefit and increase the piety in the family or group. The main task is to meditate and contemplate on the mysteries, in union with Jesus and Mary, for the salvation of souls.
