In this message we are invited by our Blessed Mother to turn trials of life and afflictions besetting families and communities into a shared sacrifice by accepting them, and offering them to God with trust and confidence.  An old Egyptian provery says:  "Shared sorrow is only half a sorrow, but shared happiness is double happiness." 

Trials and tribulations caused by the Evil One or by whatever source may be transformed into something good and positive if we offer them to God.  This is the mystery of the Cross.  God allows His children to be tested like gold and siolver in the furnace (Cf. Malachi 3.3).
