“Dear children! Thank you for offering your affliction to God, even at this time when He is testing you through the crops you are gathering. You must know, dear children, that God loves you and it is for that reason that He tests you. Always present your burdens to God and do not worry. Thank you for responding to my call.”

1st day: Matthew 5:38-42. (Thursday)
Generosity.
2nd day: 1 Peter 5:7-10. (Friday)
Our life is God’s concern, so “unload all your burden on to the Lord.” Cf. Psalm 55:22.
3rd day: 2 Corinthians 1:3-7. (Saturday)
In our hardships and sufferings God gives us encouragement through the sufferings of Christ. Cf. John 16:33.
4th day: Psalm 37:3-9. (Sunday)
The fate of the upright is in God’s hands. Cf. Psalm 56:4.
5th day: Hebrews 12:5-13. (Monday)
God trains those he loves. Cf. Proverbs 3:11-12; Malachi 3:3; 1 Peter 1:6-7.
6th day: 1 Corinthians 10:13. (Tuesday)
God will not let us be put to the test beyond our strength. Cf. James 1:13-14.
7th day: Sirach (Ecclesiasticus) 2:1-18. (Wednesday)
Trust in God in times of ordeal. (‘Fear of the Lord,’ the seventh gift of the Holy Spirit.
Cf. Isaiah 11:2).

This week accept any inconvenience which may come your way with humble trust in God.
