Living by the messages of Our Lady
“Dear children! These days, live all my messages and continue to root them in your hearts this week. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
1st day: Matthew 6:19-21. (Thursday)
True treasures. Cf. Luke 12:33-34.
Matthew 6:19-21.
19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Cf. Luke 12:33-34.
33 Sell your possessions, and give alms; provide yourselves with purses that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
2nd day: Matthew 7:21-27. (Friday)
Listening to the word of God and doing it is the way to build on rock.
Cf. Luke 6:46.
Matthew 7:21-27.
21 Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’ 24 “Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; 25 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; 27 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”
Cf. Luke 6:46.
46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?”
3rd day: Romans 2:12-16. (Saturday)
Even the pagans may live righteously by following the laws of God “engraved on their hearts.”
Romans 2:12-16.
12 All who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 When Gentiles who have not the law do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.
4th day: Colossians 2:6-7. (Sunday)
Building our lives on Our Lord Jesus and being rooted in him.
Cf. 1 John 2:24.
Colossians 2:6-7.
6 As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Cf. 1 John 2:24.
24 Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.
5th day: James 1:19-27. (Monday)
“Quick to listen but slow to speak.” Listening to the Word must be followed by action. Cf. 1 John 3:18.
James 1:19-27.
19 Know this, my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger, 20 for the anger of man does not work the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rank growth of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer that forgets but a doer that acts, he shall be blessed in his doing. 26 If any one thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this man's religion is vain. 27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
Cf. 1 John 3:18.
18 Little children, let us not love in word or speech but in deed and in truth.
6th day: Colossians 3:16-17. (Tuesday)
Teaching each other, through the Word of Christ in us.
Colossians 3:16-17.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
7th day: Matthew 13:4-9, Matthew 13:18-23. (Wednesday)
The parable of the sower.
Matthew 13:4-9.
4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, 6 but when the sun rose they were scorched; and since they had no root they withered away. 7 Other seeds fell upon thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. 8 Other seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears, let him hear.
Cf. Matthew 13:18-23.
23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.
This week try to listen to others with patience.
